Sage Insight Author, Viewer

Sage Insight Author and Viewer are Excel add-ins which facilitate the creation of reporting templates/packs and the dynamic refreshing thereof

Sage Insight Data warehouse

An Insight data warehouse is created and updated via the Insight job scheduler using standard and/or pre-defined filters. The Sage Insight data warehouse is the key in translating financial and related data within the financial system to more user friendly information which makes standard reporting easier and self-service reporting viable. It also promotes the use of OLAP cubes and could be scheduled to update at specified times to ensure that you don’t have server processing overhead at critical times. The Insight data warehouse is designed to facilitate fast and efficient reporting. The database caters for all “filter” requirements and is period-driven. Current Period, Quarterly, Year to Date and Ending balances are pre-calculated to ensure speedy reporting.

Sage Insight Consolidations

Sage Insight Consolidations – is a fully fledged Consolidations tool incorporating the following:


  • Multi-tiered consolidations from many Accpac/X3 or any other
    databases or a combination thereof.
  • Automatic Multi-currency conversions, using any conversion rates
    e.g. Net period, ending balance or historical rates.
  • Automated intercompany eliminations with reconciliation.
  • Intercompany transactions.
  • Consolidated reporting on any level of the consolidations
    hierarchy using parent or child currencies.
