[Johannesburg, 14 June 2005] – Premier Softline Sage ERP Accpac business partner, AccTech Systems has expanded its geographic reach through strategic business alliances, resulting in representation in six new regions: North West, Limpopo; and Mpumalanga as well as Mozambique, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
“Our new business model encourages existing companies to become part of the AccTech Group by expanding their product range to include Softline Sage ERP Accpac products,” says Tertius Zitzke, group managing director of AccTech Systems.
“Many of our new alliance partners have impressive levels of expertise in the field of networking and computer hardware. With our Sage ERP Accpac knowledge we will broaden their service offerings by including a market leading ERP solution.”
“We are very pleased to be part of AccTech Systems,” says Brynt Moggach, managing director of the newly formed AccTech North West in Rustenburg.
“We come from a entirely different IT background and many of our existing clients require accounting and ERP solutions as well as remote support, which always proved to be a hindrance. The strategic alliance with Acctech Systems has ensured that this is no longer the case.”
Nico Smith, CEO of AccTech Limpopo, agrees: “There are many different areas of expertise in the IT industry and the collaboration between the hardware and software is vital. AccTech’s experience in the business management software industry such as Sage ERP Accpac is unrivalled and we are looking forward to a mutually beneficial business relationship.”
“Business potential in Mozambique is at an all time high,” says Gabriel Labao Dava, managing director of AccTech Mozambique. “Local companies want to interact with South African business consultants but the language barrier often gets in the way. With our new alliance with AccTech Systems we’ll be able to deliver the required solutions to local companies in Portuguese. It is a win-win situation.”
At the helm of AccTech Alliance operations is managing director, Bernard Ford. “The concept of forming franchise-like alliances with partners in outlying areas in sub-Saharan Africa is a far better strategy than the opening branches. Increasing our geographical representation is of vital importance and we believe the franchise route we have selected has merit because we get to work with existing businesses that have an understanding of local conditions and have an invested interest in the success of the business.”
