South African product to make its international debut

[Johannesburg, 15 August 2003] – AccTech Systems (Pty) Ltd, a Pretoria based Sage ERP Accpac premier solution provider, is showcasing its flagship product, AccTech eWorkflow, to the international market later this week.

The Sage ERP Accpac International Partnership conference is taking place from the 17th to the 23rd of this month in Quebec City, Canada, and more than 700 business partners from all over the world will attend this year’s event.

AccTech eWorkflow is the only workflow product designed specifically for integration into the Sage ERP Accpac Advantage Series Accounting System.

“Originally designed only as a workflow solution to accompany a business’s order entry and purchase order modules, the product that we are now introducing consist of nine different modules, varying from business process management modules, procurement modules, stock transfer and contract modules, to name just a few,” says Tertius Zitzke, Managing Director of AccTech Systems.

“Although we’ve had great success with the product in Africa with installations at large corporates in SA, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Zambia, we’ve been inundated with requests for the product from the international market,” says Zitzke. “Sage ERP Accpac Partnership 2003 is the ideal platform for us to launch our new eWorkflow on the international stage,” he adds.

“Since we launched the Web-based version of the product at Computer Faire 2002 the product has developed in leaps and bounds,” says Nick Botha, Marketing Manager of AccTech Systems. “This is due to the fact that most business procedures consist of a rule-based process that can be streamlined and automated, using a product like AccTech eWorkflow. Customers using the earlier version of the product quickly recognised the value and potential of eWorkflow, especially where automation on more business areas were identified and required,” he adds.
